Welcome to my Blog!

I am so excited to have this new blog up and running. And it's about time, Morgan Alexander Photography has been blogless for far too long! It is still definitely a work in progress, so please bear with me and check back often to see what great new things have changed.

Progression of a newborn session.

“Lady, you are really bothering me. There is no way I’m going to sleep for you! …”

“Well, maybe just a little nap…”

” Oh, Sweet dreams…”

Naked baby!

My little guy used to run around before bath time saying “naked baby…naked baby” and little Miss Em made me think of just that! She could just not resist this warm, fuzzy blanket! What a natural she is in front of the camera, making my job easier than usual for a one year old session… so much fun!  Happy belated Birthday Miss Em!! Enjoy J & T, I can’t wait for you guys to see the rest :)

Happy Valentine’s Day!

pure happiness…

these are the many little faces that light up my world every day. They grow so fast… they seem to change overnight… and it feels like it happens in the blink of an eye. Writing this post, all I can hear are squeals of laughter…  pure happiness! It just makes me want to squeeze them a little tighter with every hug… before I know it they will be grown.

You’re the Best…

Brrrr…rrr!!

Thank you for hanging in here with me…I know I have been “away” from the blog for awhile, but now I’m back and ready to make some changes. I will be using my time spent indoors (away from the cold!) to do some much needed updates to the blog and website… yay!

Indoors for me, where there is no cold… snow… ice … not my kind of weather, beautiful, but just too cold! I know there are lots of people who love the chill and flakes we’re having (like my husband) but I am more of a warm weather gal myself and will be more than excited to see spring this year. Warm breezes, sunny skies, green grass, lots of amazing on-location sessions… oh, just the thought of it makes me warm. But, for now all you snowbunnies out there enjoy!

Did someone say chocolate…

The studio will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving… while I deeply inhale the yummy smell of chocolate in Hershey, PA! I hope everyone and their families have a wonderful Thanksgiving! All phone calls and emails will be returned promptly on Monday, Nov. 30th… when I will be buzzing around with energy from all the chocolate I have been eating all week!

And because I just simply can not post without a picture… here is one that just makes me smile every time I look at it :) More to come later from this session…

All out fun. Sneak Peek

I have been on a roll recently working with all little fellas! Kids are just so fun to work with, and I have always found it so funny the differences between little girls and little boys. Even with my own little ones, they are just so very different it amazes me! Boys are just all out, rambunctious balls of energy, who can’t get enough of playing chase, playing in the dirt or playing with anything that has wheels and/or a motor! Girls are still definitely a ball of energy, but in their own “let’s dress up and run around in our heels” kind of way… so cute!

This little guy was no exception to being “all boy”! He was into throwing walnuts, playing chase, climbing rocks, climbing fences. He kept me on the move, which makes for a great session… no stiff, posed shots here!! All boy and all fun!

Let’s Talk. Sneak Peek

What a cutie this little guy was! Of course, the first thing I noticed was his beautiful red hair and bright blue eyes (I know he’s a boy, but I’m still saying beautiful!). He was quite the talker, with a great sense of humor and terrific vocabulary for a little one his age.  And of course we had lots to talk about. We discussed quite a few things… one of which being how terrific of a big brother this little guy is going to be :)
