The calendar for 2009 is completely FULL! The fall season has started off with a bang, filling up very quickly… wow. It looks to be an exciting… and busy rest of the year! What an amazing year of growth for the studio, full of wonderful clients, both new and past, and even a brand new location! A huge thank you to all of my amazing clients, you have truly made it the best year yet for Morgan Alexander Photography. Thank You.
If you are interested in scheduling a session, we are starting to book for January 2010. Sessions are generally booking 4-6 weeks in advance, if you are interested in scheduling a maternity or newborn session please call early to reserve your session date.
And because no post is complete without a picture

Amazing senior, great location … just altogether fabulous! Now seniors are not my “typical session”, but I have truly enjoyed each senior I have had the opportunity to photograph. It is a great change of pace… someone who wants their picture taken and actually holds still! Not saying I don’t love all those wiggly-giggly little kiddos that keep me on my toes, I do! Senior sessions just always seem to surprise me how much I enjoy them, I come away wanting to shoot more… hmm.
Thanks so much Kelsi for such a great session…I’m looking forward “round two”!

Only completely different! This sweet little bundle belongs to one of my friends from way back when… high school, middle school days even! (wow, I feel a little old saying that!) It was so great to see her again and to meet her amazing new family.

One year old sessions always keep me on my toes. And this little cutie did just that! After a weekend of family wedding activities, this little fella had just about enough of having his picture taken, but he hung in there like a trooper… and we’re so glad he did!

What is more fun than a little guy with his favorite toys! Mr.”S” came fully prepared. We had trains, books and most important of all, a contagious smile. This session was really more like a play-date… just how it should be!

What an amazing thing to celebrate… adoption… the completion of a family. I was so blessed to be able to capture the amazing bond between this family, marking the official finalization of their adoption. Little Miss “D” was so much fun, and all girl! She just naturally stole the “spotlight” and was quite happy doing so! Even with the attention gravitating to her, it is so clear the connection and love this Mom and little girl have for each other. Thank you “M” and Miss “D”, I was so happy to be a part of this wonderful time and to forever capture the “beginning” of what I know will be many more happy years to come. Congratulations!!

This family is very near and dear to my heart, so I have nothing but love for them. I could call them friends, but really they are family. So needless to say I was overjoyed at the chance to capture the memories of their beautiful new family. Enjoy the sneak peek guys!

Her “Mr T.” neck, as mommy calls it! I love all babies, but chunky babies are just so squeezable adorable!! The more chunk the better!

Downtown Staunton, VA is one of my very favorite spots to shoot. It has so much character, all the old architecture, the textures, colors, train depot…I love it all! The possiblities are simply endless. For this session, we checked out the train depot, railway cars, we even ventured up to the bridge overlooking the railroad tracks, which has a great view overlooking the city…very cool. It is actually a favorite spot for my kiddos to visit whenever we are downtown… not to mention the shopping isn’t bad either!

This little cutie was all set…boots, rain coat and no rain! But who needs rain when you have your own inflatable pool like we did! Miss “G” is one of my very favorite little clients who I have been photographing since before birth. As a newborn I didn’t think she could possibly get any cuter, but she is growing cuter by the day! Her mom also happens to have become a great friend, so she didn’t think I was totally nuts when I suggested doing their session in rain gear and with a pool! What a blast we had… relaxed, fun and totally carefree … just the way a portrait session should be. The only problem was deciding which images not to show!
